Joan Brubacher
Principal and CFO
Ms. Brubacher brings over 30 years of experience in finance and operations to Resolute Commercial Services. Her areas of expertise include corporate and investment finance; budgeting, cash flow and expense management; strategic planning and organizational management; capital acquisition and fund raising; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; operations/supply chain management; and customer and supplier relationship management. Since joining Resolute, Ms. Brubacher has focused her skills on operating company issues, including managing the operations and liquidation of a multi-location fuel and oil distributorship; debt restructuring engagements on behalf of both creditors and debtors in the car wash, convenience store, medical and construction industries; and Chapter 11 bankruptcy financial advisory services, including expert witness testimony.
Prior to joining Resolute, Ms. Brubacher served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for iGo, Inc., where she was a member of the team that took the company public in 2000. While at iGo, she led balance sheet initiatives that resulted in a current ratio that improved from 3.0 in 2007 to 4.5 at the end of 2008 and grew cash and investment balances 25% during that same time period. Also during her tenure, she was responsible for all financing activities and was a primary member of the team that consummated five acquisitions and three divestitures.
Prior to her tenure at iGo, Ms. Brubacher was employed at several private small and start-up companies where she served as Controller, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. She started her career on the audit staff of Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young). She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with Concentration in Accounting from Kansas State University.
